Commitment.
Each student has to commit to their lesson plan throughout the year, one lesson per week is required. Any extended break, 2 weeks or longer, will cause the student to loose their time slot. In order to make the best progress, daily practice is strongly recommended. To help develop self-discipline and good work habits, we suggest that regular time for practice be determined and set aside each day.
Make-up Lessons.
During the year each student is allowed up to 4 make-up individual lessons (2 make-up lessons per semester) due to any reasons for missed class. For known absences, please notify the school and the teacher at least 24 hours in advance. It's a teacher's obligation to provide 2 make up individual lessons per semester if student cancels the lesson. If student needs more than 2 make up lessons - it's up to the teacher's discretion. If teacher has to cancel the lesson – the make up lesson will be done by the primary teacher or the substitute teacher. On the top of that no refunds are given for missed individual lessons. Please schedule time for make-up lessons as early as possible since each teacher’s time slots are limited. In cases of emergency, such as illness, please call the teacher right away.
